Build Your Own Velodrome
The Track Builder is here: shape the lap and the banking, pick the deck and the venue, set it anywhere in the world, and race on it with every rider.

Ride Cave has 22 velodromes, from London to Cali. Now you can build your own. The Track Builder lets you shape the lap, steepen the banking, choose the deck, put the track under a roof or out in the open air, and set it anywhere in the world. A rider laps it the whole time you build, so you see every change ridden.
When it is right, ride it, race on it, host a Group Ride on it, and publish it so every rider can race it too.
Shape the track
Open Tools and choose Track Builder. The Shape tab sets the lap, from 166 to 500 metres, the banking in the turns up to 60 degrees and on the straights, the width of the track, how round its bends are, and how quickly the banking changes. Move a slider and the track rebuilds around the rider a moment later.
The Surface tab picks the deck: timber, concrete, tarmac, or dirt, each one rolling as it should. Colour the deck, the boards, the infield, and the ground round the track, from mown stripes to tropical grass to stone.
Put it somewhere
Every track has a real location. Search for a place and the builder sets the flag and the altitude, so a track high in the mountains has thinner air and faster laps, just like the real ones. Outdoors, the track stands on the real ground there, built from the same map data as the Infinite World.
The Signs tab hangs your name board over turn one, classic, LED, painted timber or modern, with your place and colours on it, and flies your country's flag or one in your own colours.
Indoors, choose the roof: a dome, a glass roof, a warehouse, or a sports hall, and light the hall bright, warm, golden, or dim. Outdoors, let the track live through the day with changing weather, or keep it at one hour and one kind of weather all the time. The sun button lets you preview any time of day or any weather before you decide.

Tracks as code
Every track is also a short block of code. Open the Code view to copy a track and share it, paste one a friend sent you, or change a number and watch the track follow. Prefer to describe it? Copy the AI prompt into any AI chat, describe the velodrome you want, and paste the answer back. Anything outside the builder's limits is pulled inside them, and the builder tells you what it changed.

Share it
Save a track and you get a picture of it: the view on your screen as you save. Publish it and it joins Community Tracks, where every rider can find it, ride it, race the bots on it, and host Group Rides and Group Races on it. A published track keeps its shape, its location and its deck so lap records stay fair; the look stays yours to change. The best community tracks will become Ride Cave tracks, for every rider to race for good.
Free to design, Cave Crew to save
Anyone can open the Track Builder and design a track. Cave Crew members save and publish up to 10 tracks from XP Level 4: riding about three hours a week gets you there in around two and a half months. Every ride, run, and row earns XP toward it; you can see your level in Settings, under XP & Levels.
See everything the builder can do on the Track Builder page, then go build the velodrome you have always wanted to ride.
