Infinite World 2.0

Infinite World 2.0 is here: every rider has a new hand inked look, the 3D world is drawn to match, a full pack is lighter on your computer or phone, and the rider can be yours with the Character Builder.

Welcome to Infinite World 2.0. Every rider has a new hand inked look, and the 3D world is drawn to match it: on eRoutes, in Ride Anywhere, on the track and at the start line of every Group Ride.

It is free for everyone, and you do not need to change a thing: your next ride is already in the new style.

A new look for every rider

The old riders were built from many separate pieces, which looked fine alone and got heavy in a busy pack. The new rider is one drawn figure with an ink outline and painted shading, and the bike is part of the same drawing. It reads clearly from far away, it holds up close, and a full pack of riders now costs your computer or phone far less to draw than the old ones did.

The world got the same treatment. Shadows are hatched like a pen drawing, clouds are painted, dust kicks up off gravel, and speed lines come in at the edges of the screen when you are really moving. Roadside buildings change style by region, fences have their end posts, and far away scenery is simplified so the frame rate stays smooth.

In a pack and on the track

The new riders shine in a crowd. Ride With Bots, a Group Ride start line or a race on the velodrome banking all read clearly at a glance, and the bunch stays smooth on laptops and phones that used to struggle with a full field.

Make the rider yours

Infinite World 2.0 comes with the Character Builder, so the rider in the new style can be yours: your build, hair, kit, helmet, bike and wheels. Read all about it in Meet the Character Builder, and tell us what you think of Infinite World 2.0.
