Track race formats
Points: most points wins.
The line you cross last matters least. Sprints come round every few laps, the final one pays double, and a single lap gained is worth more than any of them.
You can lose the finish and still win the race.
How it works
A race inside every few laps.
Sprint on the sprint laps
The first four riders over the line score 5, 3, 2 and 1. Sprints are counted back from the finish, so the last one is always the finish line.
Go for the lap
Catch the back of the main bunch from a full lap ahead and you score 20. Get caught by it and you lose 20.
Double at the end
The final sprint pays 10, 6, 4 and 2. Most points wins, and a tie goes to the order in that final sprint.
How to race it
Do the sums while your legs burn.
Pick your sprints
You cannot win every one. Decide which to fight for, and use the laps between them to recover in the draft.
Attack after a sprint
The bunch sits up once a sprint is done. That is the moment to go clear and start hunting a lap.
Watch the board
The leaderboard shows points, not who is ahead on the road. The rider to mark may be behind you on the track.
On Ride Cave
Ride it your way.
Set the race you want.
Choose the laps and how often the sprints come. The setup shows how many sprints that makes, then the bots you will race and where you start.

A field whenever you want one.
Race bots at Easy, Normal or Hard, on any of 22 velodromes or a track you designed yourself. They follow the same rules and physics you do: they draft, tire, chase and sprint.

Race real people.
Host a Group Ride from any velodrome, make it a race, and send the link. Up to 30 riders line up on one grid and the field counts down together. The race room records every place, so everyone sees the same official result.
